1. Parties and application
These terms concern products and related communications made available under Signal Atelier by Camera Video Surveillance Ltd., Wingstem Ct, North York, ON M3H 0C2, Canada. They are intended to explain the process of preparing a quotation, reviewing technical requirements and entering a separate purchase agreement for professional video equipment. Mandatory rights arising under applicable Canadian law take precedence where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Catalogue descriptions and technical information
Product names and technical specifications identify particular camera models and are based on information published by their respective manufacturers. Technical performance depends on configuration, lens choice, firmware, accessories and the connected production chain. Buyers should confirm the exact model, compatible mounting systems, format support, installation requirements and package contents before accepting an order. Photographs depict intended camera subjects and should not be treated as a substitute for written line-item specifications.
3. Prices and quotations
Catalogue amounts are Canadian manufacturer reference prices and are not binding offers by Camera Video Surveillance Ltd. A quotation is expected to identify the actual selling price, applicable taxes, currency, freight, optional accessories, stock status and any commercial terms specific to the order. Prices and availability must be confirmed before payment. No claim is made that product stock is reserved when equipment is placed in a website bag or an enquiry is prepared.
4. Ordering and acceptance
Placing an item in an equipment bag or preparing an enquiry is not a purchase contract. A purchase becomes binding only after a specific written quotation or order agreement has been presented, the buyer has been given an opportunity to review and correct material details, and the relevant acceptance conditions have been completed. Additional steps may be required for credit checks, business purchases, special-order items or shipping restrictions, but must be communicated before acceptance.
5. Payment arrangements
Payment methods, due dates, deposit requirements, any applicable processing charges and invoice details must be stated in the accepted quotation or invoice. A request for information does not itself authorize a charge. Customers should not send complete payment-card numbers or financial passwords through contact forms or regular email. If a transaction uses a third-party processor, that provider's applicable terms and privacy notices may also apply.
6. Delivery, risk and inspection
Dispatch arrangements, destination restrictions, freight, insurance and expected delivery timing must be confirmed with the order. Customers should examine the package upon delivery and promptly document visible loss, transit damage or a discrepancy in the delivered items. Shipping estimates may change because of carriers, customs processing, remote destinations or events beyond reasonable control. Specific dispatch, insurance and handling arrangements will be set out in the written quotation or accepted sales agreement.
7. Returns, defects and warranties
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product and are supplied or identified as part of the accepted sales documents. Faults, misdescription, damage and other legally protected remedies are assessed under the applicable agreement and law. Change-of-mind returns or return restrictions must be disclosed before purchase and must not override mandatory statutory rights. Review the separate Returns & Refunds policy and contact support before dispatching goods for inspection or servicing.
8. Professional installation and safe operation
Camera bodies may require lenses, power accessories, approved mounting, cables, switchers, network equipment or suitable recording media. Use the manufacturer documentation and follow electrical, rigging and operational safety instructions. Installation and workflow design should be undertaken by competent personnel when appropriate. The purchaser is responsible for checking suitability for the intended use before committing to an equipment configuration.
9. Intellectual property and third-party names
Manufacturer names, model names, product photography and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their use identifies the equipment described and does not itself represent an endorsement, distributorship or affiliation. Site content may not be reproduced for unlawful commercial purposes or used to misrepresent products or the business.
10. Limitations and uncontrollable events
Nothing in these terms excludes liabilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to mandatory law and the accepted agreement, the company is not responsible for losses caused exclusively by customer misuse, unsupported modifications, operation contrary to manufacturer instructions or external systems beyond its control. Delivery and performance may be affected by events outside reasonable control; customers should be informed of material consequences and available legal remedies.
11. Complaints, disputes and governing law
Questions regarding a quotation, delivered item or order term should be directed to [email protected] , with enough detail to identify the relevant transaction. These terms are interpreted under applicable federal Canadian and Ontario law, subject to mandatory consumer-law rights and rules concerning jurisdiction. Parties may seek the legal remedies available to them under applicable law; nothing here limits an individual's statutory right to approach the appropriate authority.
12. Updates and correspondence
Changes to these general terms apply as published and do not retroactively alter an existing accepted order without a legally valid basis. Last updated: OCTOBER 14, 2026. Company: Camera Video Surveillance Ltd., Wingstem Ct, North York, ON M3H 0C2, Canada. Email: [email protected] .
These provisions should be read with any specific written quotation or accepted sales agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable legislation are not excluded.
